Digital Learning Day is a US celebration of innovative teaching and learning through digital media and technology that engages students and provides them with a rich, personalized educational experience. On Digital Learning Day, a majority of states, hundreds of school districts, thousands of teachers, and more than a million students will encourage the innovative use of technology by trying something new, showcasing success, kicking off project-based learning, or focusing on how digital tools can help improve student outcomes.

By the end, I felt that Mooney had made peace with his past, and could finally move beyond his insecurities coming from the labels of his youth and riding the short bus.

Sin in the Second City as a book was wonderful.  I didn’t even know about this subsection of Chicago history.  The classiness of the late 1800 – early 1900 Everleigh sisters in the Levee was a juicy story.  I enjoyed the entwinement of the politicians, the low-life thugs and the “ladies of the night” of the time period.  Some of the references to the world fair brought be back to Devil in the White City.  I didn’t want it to end.
